What is the Customize ID2 Prefix feature?
The Customize ID2 Prefix feature is a project-level record type Prefix for the ID2 Identifier. If the ID2 Prefix is not specified, the record type ID Prefix will be used by default.
You can access this editor from Administration > Configure Projects > Configure Project Settings > ID2 Prefix. Refer to the images below.

When to use it?
Use the Customize ID2 Prefix feature when you want to specify a separate Prefix for the ID and ID2 of each record type in any project.
