How to enable LDAP Authentication (TopTeam Web Version 8.x)

Overview

This article describes the procedure to enable LDAP authentication on the Web Server so that it can authenticate User Accounts by connecting to the specified Active Directory.

Who should read this?

  • TopTeam Administrators
  • TopTeam Users

Prerequisites

  • You should have rights to Web Server Management Console.
  • You should know the LDAP port number and the name of the server.
  • You should know the LDAP login credentials.

Step 1. Stop Internet Information Services (IIS) server

Step 2. Start TopTeam Web Server Management Console

Navigate to the TopTeam Web installation files and folders to locate ttmISAPICp_IB.exe.

Step 3. Go to the LDAP Settings tab in Management Console

Step 4. Enable and configure LDAP Authentication Settings

Step 5. Test LDAP Connectivity

Step 6. Start IIS Server
