Creating Mind Map Records using Minutes of Meeting Editor

Overview

Mind Map is an excellent tool to write down discussion points, ideas and brainstorming points in a structured layout. Using Mind Map feature of TopTeam along with Minutes of meeting record, will help you view the minutes in a graphical layout.

Mind Map in meetings can be used for various purpose such as noting down guideline, checklist, setting priorities or assigning identified actionable items, etc.

In this article, you will learn how to create Mind Map while noting minutes in meeting and embed the Mind Map in the minutes field after completion.

Prerequisites

  1. To work with Mind Map record type, you must first include it in your project.
    Refer to the topic Including Mind Map record type in your project of the article Using Mind Map in TopTeam.
  2. You must have the required permissions to create a new Mind Map record in your project.

Step 1. Click the Edit action in Minutes of meeting editor

Step 2. Go to the Minutes section and click the Create Mind Map iconĀ 

Step 3. Enter Mind Map record name

Step 4. After editing your Mind Map, click Save

Step 5. Close the Mind Map record editor

To create Mind Map, refer to the article Building Mind Map Diagram.

Step 6. Select an option to insert Mind Map record in Minutes

  • Choose the As Embedded Link option to embed Mind Map record as a Link in the Minutes section.
  • Choose the As TopTeam Object option to embed Mind Map as TopTeam Object in Minutes section. The Mind Map will display in the Minutes section.
  • For larger size of Mind Map, we recommend that you use the As Embedded Link option.

Step 7. Mind Map record has been inserted as TopTeam Object in the Minutes section
