Using Recycle Bin

What is Recycle Bin?

When you delete projects and records, they are temporarily stored into Recycle Bin except metadata and configuration settings. These are then no longer available to the users of the application.

You can access Recycle Bin from How do I? Refer to the image below.

Alternatively, you can also access it from TopTeam main menu > More > Recycle Bin.

Prerequisites

To delete and undelete records, you must have Delete Record and Undelete Record permissions.

Undeleting records

Recycle Bin allows you to restore records that have been deleted in TopTeam.

IMPORTANT: If the records that you are undeleting were child records, ensure that their owner record is available in the repository.

Select the records that have been deleted. For this, you may need to search for the deleted records.

Use the following filter to search for the deleted records.

Else, if you know the exact location of the deleted records, you can navigate to that location and select them.

To view the recovered records in your project, refresh Repository Explorer.

 

Purging records

If you want to permanently delete records, use Purge action.

The records will be permanently removed from the TopTeam application.
