How to configure IIS 7.0 for accessing TopTeam Application Server via HTTP/HTTPS

Overview

TopTeam supports access to TopTeam Application Server via HTTP/HTTPS.
A Windows Administrator can configure HTTP/HTTPS access to TopTeam Application Server using topteamhttp.dll.

This article describes how to configure topteamhttp.dll on IIS 7.0 to allow HTTP/HTTPS access to TopTeam Application Server.

Prerequisites

You must have Windows or System Administrator privileges to perform this configuration.
Internet Information Services (IIS 7.0) must be installed. Refer to the article Install Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0.
TopTeam Application Server must be installed on the same or a different computer. Refer to the article Installing TopTeam Application Server for Firebird Database. For other installation articles, refer to the TechnoSolutions Knowledge Base Website.
Network access must be available from the computer on which IIS is installed to the computer on which TopTeam Application Server is installed (in case if they are installed on different computers).
Download and save a copy of topteamhttp.dll to C:\<any-folder>\topteamhttp folder on this computer. Refer to the link http://downloads.technosolutionscorp.com/cust/utils/topteamhttp.zip to download topteamhttp.dll.
