Alternate Flows are needed to handle exception conditions that force the system to deviate from its Main Success Scenario.
This article describes the procedure to add an Alternate Flow in the main Flow-of-Events in a Use Case.
Who should read this?
- TopTeam Users
Open a Use Case record in which you want to add an alternate flow
Place the cursor at the step from which you want to create an alternate flow and right-click to open the pop-up menu
The Add Alternate Flow window opens
Add an Alternate Flow
The Alternate Flow is added to the Use Case steps
Add steps to the Alternate Flow so that it ends with either Success or Failure.
You may also add multiple alternate flows.
