Overview
In this article, you will learn about how to perform add, edit and delete actions on trace links using Traceability Coverage Matrix in TopTeam Web.

Step 1. Navigate to Traceability Coverage Matrix
Alternatively, you can navigate to Traceability Coverage Matrix from the selection drop-down in the top left corner.

1. Adding Traceability
You can add existing or create new traced record(s). There are three options to add links:
- Add Trace Links
- Create Traced Record
- Create Traced Records in Bulk
Add Trace Links option creates trace links with the existing records. Create Traced Records options let you create new records and trace links are created with those new records.
1.1. Adding Trace Links
Step 1.1.1. To add an existing record’s link, select Add Trace Links option
Step 1.1.2. Select records that you want to add as trace links
Step 1.1.3. Trace Links have been added
1.2. Creating Traced Record
Step 1.2.1. Select the Create Traced Record option
NOTE: Only those record types will display in the list with which traceability linking rule is defined.
Step 1.2.2. Enter new record details
Step 1.2.3. Traced link has been created with the newly created record
1.3. Creating Traced Records in Bulk
The procedure to Create Traced Records in Bulk is similar to creating a single traced record, however, the window is different for adding record details in which you have to create records in bulk. Illustrated in the image below.
2. Editing Trace Links
You can make trace links as suspect.
Step 2.1. Select and right-click a traced record
Step 2.2. Click Yes to confirm
Step 2.3. The link is made suspect
Similarly, you can remove suspicion from a trace link as shown in the image below.
3. Deleting Trace Links
Step 3.1. Select the trace link that you want to delete
Step 3.2. Click Yes to confirm
Step 3.3. The trace link has been deleted
