How to refactor a Use Case Flow

Overview

You may find that as you create use cases, some of them become too long or that there are multiple steps commonly used through the use cases.
You can then simplify the building of your use case flow by refactoring. This will create a new use case and move a sub-set of the steps from an existing use case.

Who should read this?

Step 1. Open a Use Case from which you want to move the steps

You can also open a record in ribbon toolbar view by double-clicking it in the repository explorer.

Step 2. Select the steps and right-click

Step 3. Enter the Name of the Use Case

Step 4. A new Use Case has been created
