Locating and selecting requirement in Source OneView Document

You can locate and select a requirement in a source OneView Document to identify its traceability links in a derived OneView Document. This can be done by using Traceability Derivation Mode in OneView editor. This feature enables you to view traceability relationships of a selected record.

You can perform this action using the following methods:
1. Directly locate a requirement in Document Map
2. Search and locate a requirement by Title or ID
3. Search and locate a requirement using Full-text search

This article describes the steps to locate and select a requirement in a source document to view its traceability links in a derived document.

Full-text search helps you to search for a text in any text field displayed in the OneView Document such as Description, Acceptance Criteria, etc.

1. Press Ctrl+F to open Full-text search panel in Document Area.
2. Enter the search text.
3. Specify options such as:

• Match Whole word only – to search for the entire text.
• Match case – to apply case sensitive search.
• Scan using Indexes (Faster) – to search used database indexes. This may NOT search requirements that were added or modified recently (typically in last 5 to 10 minutes).
• Press Enter or click search icon on right edge of the search box.

You can use Next and Previous options to search next and previous records based on the searched text using Full-text search panel.
