Using Multi-Level Traceability Report

What is the Multi-Level Traceability Report editor?

Multi-Level Traceability Report is used to determine how records of certain record type(s) are traced throughout a system.

You can view traceability report of records of multiple types.

NOTE: Multiple record types can be selected in TopTeam version 12.1. In TopTeam versions lower than 12.1, you can select one record type.

You can access this editor from TopTeam main menu > Traceability > Multi-Level Traceability Report > Query. Refer to the images below.

When to use it?

Use Multi-Level Traceability Report:
•    To determine traces of record type(s) have been traced throughout a system.
•    For impact analysis, i.e. to determine which records down the line need to be modified or tested when a record higher up in the Traceability Hierarchy is modified.
