Review Actors and Goals list with Stakeholders
Overview
Actors and their goals represent the system functionality at a high level of abstraction. Review this information with the stakeholders of the system to ensure that all Actors and their goals have been identified and documented.
Using TopTeam you can generate different types of documents that will help you review this information with the stakeholders.
To generate the Actors and Goals document for stakeholder reviews, follow these steps:
Go to the Use Cases tab, and choose Generate Document > using Shared Templates.
Select the desired template. We will select the "Actors Tabular Landscape" template which ships with the application. If you wish, you can also create a custom template by editing this template in a word processor.
Click Generate...
The document is generated and launched into Microsoft Word.
Review the document
You can use this document to review the following points with stakeholders:
• | ensure that all Actors for the proposed system have been identified. |
• | ensure that Actors and their goals have been documented accurately. |
• | identify and prioritize the goals that are important for the business. |
• | identify the scope of the system that is to be developed. |
You can also take advantage of the Comments and Discussions tabs available on the Actor editor to document the feedback gathered from the stakeholders. Alternatively, you can record the feedback using the Minutes of Meeting documenting facility of TopTeam.

You have now reviewed the Actors and their Goals with the stakeholders and incorporated their feedback as well as the priorities.
