What is the Requirements Document Baselines tab? <\/h3>\n

The Baselines <\/i>tab in a Requirements Document<\/i> editor enables you to view or manage Requirements<\/i> as well as Project Baselines<\/i>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Getting Started <\/h3>\n
\n

There are main three features under this tab:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Include Project Baselines<\/li>\n
  2. Manage Baselines<\/li>\n
  3. View Baselined Requirements drop-down menu<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Let’s explore each of these features in detail below.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    1. Include Project Baselines<\/h3>\n

    Check\/uncheck this option to display\/hide project baselines in the selected Requirements Document<\/i>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    2. Manage Baselines<\/h3>\n

    Click Manage Baselines<\/strong> to view list of Requirements Document Baselines<\/i>. In the list editor, you can create, modify (lock, convert to selective baseline, etc.), delete, etc. baselines.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    3. View Baselined Requirements drop-down menu<\/h3>\n

    From this drop-down menu, you can view a selected baseline in Requirements Document Editor<\/i> or Requirements Tree editor<\/i>. A red line will appear below the ribbon toolbar indicating that the Requirements Document<\/i> is opened in baseline.
    \nYou can compare a selected baseline with the current baseline and compare two selected baselines to view differences. Refer to the article for Using Compare Requirements Document Baselines Viewer.<\/a><\/p>\n

    The same actions are also available on right-click menu on selecting a baseline.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
