TopTeam Application Server<\/em> and its utility services need to access and\/or listen on specific TCP\/IP ports so that they can function properly.<\/p>\n<p>2. Any firewall on this computer or on the network should not block the following TCP\/IP ports for proper working of <em>TopTeam Application Server<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><em>2.1. TopTeam Application Server<\/em> listens on a specific TCP\/IP port for incoming client requests\/connections. By default, this TCP\/IP port is <em>7100<\/em>. However, you can change this as per your needs. Ensure that the firewall allows incoming and outgoing network traffic on the port on which <em>TopTeam Application Server<\/em> is listening. If you want the users to be able to access <em>TopTeam Application Server<\/em> from outside the network, you need to open the required port on your network firewall.<\/p>\n<p><em>2.2. TopTeam Application Server<\/em> and its utility services need to access <em>TopTeam<\/em> repository installed on database servers. The <em>Database Engine<\/em> listens on a specific port as per the database used. Ensure that the firewall allows network traffic on this database port.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Firebird Database: <em>3050<\/em> (by default)<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft SQL Server: <em>1433<\/em> (by default)<\/li>\n<li>Oracle Database Server: <em>1521<\/em> (by default)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Contact your <em>Database Administrator<\/em> for the exact port number for your database engine.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Email services of <em>TopTeam Application Server<\/em> require SMTP and POP3\/IMAP access to your corporate email server to process email discussions, notifications, etc. These services are however, optional. If you want to configure them, ensure that the email sever is accessible from the computer on which <em>TopTeam Application Server<\/em> will be installed.
