If you often require a certain format of OneView Document<\/strong> consisting of a particular set of sections, etc. that is applicable to multiple projects, you can use OneView Document<\/strong> Templates<\/strong>. Using one of these templates in your projects, you can create OneView Documents<\/strong>. Once you create a OneView Document<\/strong>, you can always customize it to suit your needs.<\/p>\n

OneView Document Templates<\/strong> are created only in project _<\/em>Record Templates_<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

NOTE: OneView Documents<\/em> in project _Record Templates_<\/em> are treated as OneView Document Templates<\/em>. Hence, only these will appear in the list while selecting a OneView Document Template<\/em>. You can refer to Step 2.3.<\/em> of this article.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The process of creating OneView Document Templates<\/strong> is similar to that of creating a OneView Document<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this article, you will learn how to define a OneView Template <\/strong>and create a new OneView Document<\/strong> using the template.<\/p>\n

    Defining OneView Document Templates<\/h3>\n

    You can create a\u00a0OneView Document<\/em>\u00a0template in the project\u00a0_Record Templates_<\/strong>, using the following process:<\/p>\n

    Step 2.1. Open Create OneView Document Wizard<\/h4>\n

    You can open this wizard using the following methods:<\/p>\n

    1. Select OneView Document<\/strong> record type header in the repository and click New OneView Document using Wizard <\/strong>in the workspace (right-hand side pane).<\/li>\n
    2. From OneView Document<\/strong> record editor by clicking the New<\/strong> drop-down menu on the toolbar and selecting New OneView Document using Wizard\u2026<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. In an opened OneView Document<\/strong>, go to the OneView<\/strong> tab and click New OneView<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
