Adding a Review Step<\/h3>\n<h4>Step 1.1. Choose how you want reviewers to review<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49679\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml425f1bb1-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML425f1bb1.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are two options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Reviewer should approve each record individually:<\/strong> Choose this option if you want reviewers to approve each record in a review document \/ package. This will help you track the approval progress of each record. However, approval may take a longer time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reviewer should approve the entire document \/ package at once:<\/strong> Choose this option if you want reviewers to approve an entire review document \/ package. You will not be able to track approval progress of individual records. However, approval is faster.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you choose the first option, the following wizard page will display. If you choose the second option, refer steps from <a href=\"#post-47667-_Step_1.7._Specify\">step 1.7<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1.5. Enforce a rule for records to be in a specific state before sending for review<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49680\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/word-image-94.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can enforce a rule that records should be in a specific state before sending them for review.<\/p>\n<p>The first option is enabled only if you have chosen this review step to be executed after another review step in <a href=\"#post-47667-_Step_1.3._Choose\">step 1.3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The second option lets you select a state for records in which they should be before sending for review.<\/p>\n<p>Advantage of this setting is that it helps you identify which records are ready for review and also eliminating records that are not ready for review.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not specify state in this review step, the following step will display. If you specify state, refer to <a href=\"#post-47667-_Step_1.7._Specify\">step 1.7<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1.6. Specify whether you want the system to automatically change the state of records to a specific state before they are sent for review<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49681\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml427e3ba6-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML427e3ba6.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select <strong>Yes<\/strong> and specify new state for records of <em>Repository Objects<\/em> and <em>Tracking Items<\/em>. The records states will be changed to the selected state before sending for review.<\/p>\n<h4><a id=\"post-47667-_Step_1.7._Specify\"><\/a>Step 1.7. Specify whether you want to lock records<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49682\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml42842429-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML42842429.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select <strong>Yes<\/strong> to lock records that are being sent for review. This ensures that the records are not modified while the review is being performed.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1.8. Specify who can review records<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49683\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml42862f99-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML42862f99.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can choose either <strong>Internal Users<\/strong>, <strong>External Users<\/strong> or <strong>both<\/strong> to review records.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1.9. Specify if digital signature is required from reviewers<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49684\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml428a3dfd-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML428a3dfd.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select <strong>Yes<\/strong> and choose an option:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Ask for digital signature for each record that is being approved<\/strong>: If you choose this option, reviewers will be asked for digital signature for every record they approve.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ask for digital signature only once when user marks the review as Finished<\/strong>: If you choose this option, reviewers will be asked only once for digital signature after they have finished their review.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Step 1.10. Specify whether reviewers be allowed to abstain from giving approval of a record<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49685\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml428e8bcc-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML428e8bcc.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you select <strong>Yes<\/strong>, reviewers will be able to set status of records to <strong>Abstained<\/strong>. This means that reviewers want to decline either to approve or disapprove records. In this case, if other reviewers approve the records, the records will be considered as <strong>Approved<\/strong> and if any of the reviewers disapprove the records, the records will be considered as <strong>Not Approved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1.11. Specify whether reviewers can bulk approve records<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-49686\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/c-users-admin-appdata-local-temp-snaghtml4293cb0f-1.png\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SNAGHTML4293cb0f.PNG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select <strong>Yes<\/strong> to allow reviewers to perform <strong>Bulk Approval<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1.12.
