Therefore, defining them correctly and documenting them properly is essential. When you add a requirement in <i>TopTeam repository<\/i>, it needs to be of a certain <i>Requirement Type<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><i>TopTeam<\/i> ships with a number of default <i>Requirement Types<\/i> such as Business Requirements, Product Requirements, Business Rules, etc. However, if you need to use specific <i>Requirement Types<\/i> that are not available in the repository by default, you can create your own custom <i>Requirement Types<\/i> and add them to <i>Requirement Documents.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Who should read this?<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<ul>\n<li>TopTeam Users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Opening Requirements Document Tree<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\">You can open <strong>Requirements Tree\u00a0<\/strong>from the following interfaces:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><i><strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\">TopTeam <\/span><\/strong><\/i><strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\">main menu<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\"> &#8211; From the <i>TopTeam Home <\/i>screen, open <i>TopTeam <\/i>main menu. Select <i>Requirements <\/i>and click <i>Requirements Tree<\/i>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\">How do I?<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\"> &#8211; Locate How do I? in the top-right corner of the application and select the option for opening <i>Requirements Tree <\/i>in the <i>How do I?\u00a0<\/i>screen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\">Requirements Document detail editor<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #1e1e1e;\"> &#8211; In repository explorer, select a <i>Requirements Document and<\/i> select <i>Open Requirements Tree <\/i>in the right-hand side editor pane.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Step 1.
