Drag selected records from the source document <\/i>and drop on a record in a derived document <\/i>either in Document Map <\/strong><\/i>or Document Area<\/strong><\/i>. This will create traceability link from selected records in the source document <\/i>to a single record in the derived document.<\/i><\/p>\nOption 2<\/strong>: Select one or more records in Document Map <\/strong><\/i>of a derived document<\/i>. Drag selected records from the derived document <\/i>and drop on a record in a source document <\/i>either in Document Map <\/strong><\/i>or Document Area<\/strong><\/i>. This will create traceability link from a single record in the source document <\/i>to multiple records in the derived document.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\nStep 3. Traceability link between the two records has been created<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\nNOTE<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n- The drag-and-drop method to create traceability links can be used between any two OneView Documents<\/i>.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- However, when the two OneView Documents <\/i>are in Trace Derivation Mode<\/i>, the system creates traceability links as per the Derived Link Type <\/i>specified in the source document<\/i>.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- When the two OneView Documents <\/i>are NOT in Trace Derivation Mode<\/i>, the system creates traceability links based on the Traceability Schema<\/i>. In that case, dragged records are considered as upstream and record on which they are dropped are considered as downstream.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
