What is Firebird?<\/h3>\n\nFirebird<\/i> is an Open Source RDBMS database that comes with TopTeam Application Server<\/i> as out-of-the-box database. Firebird<\/i> is a good scalable database, suitable for small size teams.<\/p>\n

When evaluating TopTeam<\/i>, you can even install TopTeam Application Server<\/i> on a laptop, however, for production usage you should use a desktop or a server class computer.<\/p>\n
We recommend you to install TopTeam Application Server<\/i> on the latest Windows Server computer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\nDo you need to have Windows Administrator privileges to install TopTeam Application Server?<\/h3>\n\nYou need Windows Administrator<\/strong> privileges to install TopTeam Application Server<\/i> as a Windows Service and to install Firebird Database Server<\/i>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\nDoes one need to purchase a license to install and use TopTeam Application Server?<\/h3>\n\nYou do not need to purchase a license upfront to install and evaluate TopTeam<\/i>. By default,TopTeam Application Server<\/i> will start in an evaluation mode if you do not provide a valid license key.
