Use &#8216;admin&#8217; as both the <strong>Username<\/strong> and <strong>Password<\/strong> to log into the system.<\/p>\n<p><em>TopTeam<\/em> supports two methods to login. These are as below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On-premise<\/li>\n<li>Cloud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The On-Premise and Cloud setup both provides sandbox and primary workspace.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use <em>Sandbox <\/em>mode<em> to browse sample data <\/em>for which usernames and passwords are automatically supplied by the <em>Login<\/em> screen.<\/p>\n<p>This article describes the procedure for logging into <em>TopTeam<\/em> for the very first time using <em>TopTeam Desktop App<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are connecting to <em>TopTeam<\/em> using <em>TopTeam Web<\/em>, refer to the article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/49337\/logging-into-topteam-web\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Logging into TopTeam Web<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-1777-Step2\"><\/a>Who should read this?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>TopTeam Users<\/li>\n<li>TopTeam Administrators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a id=\"post-1777-Step9\"><\/a>Prerequisites<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>To work on On-Premise, it is mandatory to have the required compatible setup. This includes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/511\/installing-topteam-application-server-for-sql-server-database\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopTeam Application Server<\/a>, required <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/2618\/installing-topteam-database-schema-for-sql-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">database<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/42532\/installing-topteam-desktop-app-net-client\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopTeam executable file<\/a> (alternatively, install the TopTeam Desktop App using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/30694\/deploying-topteam-auto-update-feature-step-by-step\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopTeam App Launcher<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>You need On-Premise license to work on this. On running TopTeam executable file, you need to switch to On-Premise option to avail this facility.<\/li>\n<li>To work on TopTeam Cloud, you will just require the cloud setup which is provided by <em>TechnoSolutions<\/em>. To use this, you need to switch to Cloud option.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that you have login credentials for logging into <em>TopTeam<\/em>. Username and password are required if you are logging using <em>TopTeam Authentication<\/em>. Logging into TopTeam Desktop App<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>1.1. Switching to Sandbox Workspace<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Sandbox Workspace<\/strong>\u00a0provides a sample project using which you can evaluate various features of\u00a0<em>TopTeam<\/em>\u00a0before using them on\u00a0<strong>Primary Workspace<\/strong>. It helps you understand how this application works.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sandbox Workspace<\/strong>\u00a0offers a predefined list of users. Switching to Primary Workspace<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Primary Workspace<\/strong>\u00a0is your live project(s) data of which you are a team member.<\/p>\n<p>There are three authentication types to log into your\u00a0<strong>Primary Workspace<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>TopTeam Authentication<\/li>\n<li>Windows Authentication<\/li>\n<li>External Authentication<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Select an authentication type and enter credentials to log in.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-50504\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"http:\/\/www.technosolutions.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/word-image-1.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>1.3. Selecting a Connection Profile<\/h4>\n<p>Creating a connection profile is the initial step for logging in.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>Connection Profile<\/strong> consists of a set of connection properties such as server computer address, port number, etc. that are required by <em>TopTeam Desktop App<\/em> to connect to the application server.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE: Please contact IT Support for the information about <em>TopTeam Application Server<\/em> such as port number, etc. to create a connection profile.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can use the connection profile created by IT Support while installation.<\/p>\n<p>You can also create a new connection profile, if NOT available.
