This article describes the procedure on how to determine whether <i>TopTeam Application Server<\/i> and its utility services are running.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assumption:<\/strong> <i>TopTeam Application Server<\/i> is installed as a <i>Windows Service<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>You can determine whether <i>TopTeam Application Server<\/i> is running from any of the following options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Option 1 &#8211; Using Management Console for TopTeam Application Server<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Option 2 &#8211; Using Windows&#8217; Task Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>When <i>TopTeam Application Server<\/i> starts, it also starts the following supporting services:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Email Sender Service<\/li>\n<li>Email Receiver Service<\/li>\n<li>Notification Service<\/li>\n<li>Text Indexer Service<\/li>\n<li>Background DB Update Service<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These services are started only if the option to start these supporting services when <i>TopTeam Application Server<\/i> starts is turned ON in the Management Console. So you won&#8217;t be able to see the names of individual supporting services in the <i>Windows Task Manager<\/i>.
