Using Use Case Scenario Editor

What is the Use Case Scenario editor?

The Use Case Scenario editor represents different scenarios in a Use Case. A scenario is a pairing of the Main Flow with one other Alternate Flow (Extension) or Variation. The Main Flow by itself is also considered a scenario and therefore, must be generated first.

You can access this editor from Repository Explorer > Use Cases > Use Case record > Use Case Scenarios > Use Case Scenario record. Refer to the image below.

When to use it?

Its primary purpose is to breakdown large Use Cases to allow Project Admins to choose which functionality to put in an iteration/release of a Project. For example, a Project Admin will choose a few simple scenarios to implement. Later, as the Project progresses, developers can add scenarios to the subsequent releases until the whole Use Case is completed.
